The aim of the Austmine video was to provide a medium for our members to present their goods and services to the international mining scene.
The Videocraft production enabled our members to do just that.
The diverse range of goods and services available from the Austmine member companies, ranging from exploration through to refining, required Videocraft to undertake extensive research into the products, goods and services offered by our members.
The Videocraft production gave us a huge advantage over the other mediums, such as print and radio, in that it can be shown and people can see and relate the action to their workforce and their workplace and their production and understand how technology and equipment from Australia can benefit their operations.
Considering the wide range of companies, products and services that are displayed in the video we believe this is a first class production.
Primarily,we use English, Spanish and Mandarin, and we're looking at a number the other languages from a single production, which you couldn't do with other mediums - you have to change the other mediums, but with the video we can simply overlay another language onto the same production. It has been extremely successful.
Considering the Austmine video was developed to be used in multiple language situation, the Videocraft methodology of putting the video together maintained a flow of information and interest from the audience in the presentation. It was extremely well done.
The Videocraft production was a highly cost effective method of getting our message across.
